Fire School

One of the first schools mastered, Fire converts the Flux directly into thermal energy by increasing molecular agitation. The arcanotechnic process specifically targets the vibrational modes of molecular bonds.

Frost School

Discovered in opposition to fire, the Frost school uses a deeply endothermic Flux conversion - meaning the conversion itself requires the absorption of heat from the environment to complete.

The mechanism relies on a special electronic configuration (configuration delta) that triggers a Flux decay toward a kinetic dampening field state. This conversion is endothermic and can only progress by extracting thermal energy from surrounding molecules. The Flux transforms into a field that:

1. Absorbs the kinetic energy of molecules to complete its own conversion
2. Slows molecular vibrations by transferring their energy to the conversion process
3. Then dissipates into non-thermal field states (potentially into the quantum vacuum)

Unlike Fire which releases thermal energy, Frost consumes thermal energy as fuel for its conversion. The net effect is rapid and controlled cooling. It is like an endothermic chemical reaction at the quantum field scale.
