Wartime Mobilization (5755)

During the final phase of the Acéras war, the Empire maintains an exceptional mobilization of 3 to 5% of its population. This rate, extraordinarily high for an interstellar civilization, reflects the urgency of the situation and the total nature of the conflict.

In peacetime, the imperial army would be much smaller, but the two-century war against the Acéras has necessitated a massive expansion of personnel. This force is primarily composed of:

• Basic infantry: conscripts and volunteers with standard training, forming the bulk of the troops
• Specialists: experienced soldiers and military technicians
• Elite units: highly trained formations constituting the Empire’s spearhead

In peacetime, the army is used for humanitarian missions, infrastructure construction, and reserve training. This approach maintains military skills while contributing to imperial well-being.
